Music Ministry
Music Ministry at Mount Hamilton United Church
“When we sing we pray twice” (St. Augustine)
At Mount Hamilton we are proud of our musical tradition, and our fine Casavant pipe organ.
There are several opportunities for singing at Mount Hamilton:
Senior Choir
The Senior Choir is open to anyone.
We sing during worship each Sunday to lead the congregation in the singing of hymns and responses,
and to sing a special anthem or song.
Practices are held each Thursday, 7-8p.m. from September through May.
Choir members say, “I sing in the choir because I love to sing …I enjoy the fellowship …choir is fun!”

Mount Hamilton Singers
Mount Hamilton Singers is an informal choir, open to everyone.
We sing two or three times a year
and practice after Sunday morning services for three weeks before we sing.
Men's Choir
The Men’s Choir is a fun group, open to all men! We sing once a year for Father’s Day.
The congregation at Mount Hamilton enjoys the varied musical experiences,
and has recently raised funds to purchase More Voices, the new United Church hymn book.
We are all excited about learning new hymns and songs.
People who play a musical instrument are always welcome to play with us.
